I met these amazing people from USA in 2016 . We've done a combo tour of Maramures and the Saxon area. Joby is an expert of wooden churches so she was our our guide :). They came back for a combo Saxonland and Seklerland tour two years later. Seven years later Joby won a fulbright scholarship to study the wooden churches in Lăpuș area. We have met each other again in Cluj. Small world :)
