Q3 Medical Devices Limited Enters into a Distribution Agreement with Medtronic for its Biodegradable Biliary and Pancreatic Stent Q3 Medical Devices Limited (“Q3 Medical”) based in Dublin, Ireland, announced today that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Medtronic plc for ARCHIMEDES, the first to market fully biodegradable biliary and pancreatic stent designed as an alternative to traditional plastic stents.

Wellinq has successfully participated at PCR Paris 2018 and presented the Interim Results of 6 month follow up for the Protege DEB, produced by Blue Medical (part of Wellinq):

"Blue Medical's DEB therapy delivers a controlled dose of paclitaxel to the coronary artery during balloon angioplasty. The combined device with a coronary stent, the DEB offers a one-time shot of the drug, instead of continuous drug delivery from a drug-eluting stent. This significantly reduces the period in which antiplatelet medication could be required. Low major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) rates and low late lumen loss indicating the efficacy and safety of the Protege and Pioneer DEB products are confirmed by the clinical data of Blue Medical's PIONEER human trial."

SG has successfully introduced Protege and Protege NC in Romania and both DEB are available to all PTCA specialists.
