You never know what to expect in RES Touring nowadays. Some past races were solitary, but this time around we had Costi Gherghescu for company all day long, in a battle of thousandths.

Our streak continues on the virtual scene, as Dragoș prolonged his reign over the iRacing championships. Unbeatable in various machinery since 2023, he claimed the sixth title in Porsche Cup equal cars on a grid that surpassed 40 entrants most of the time.

Onwards and upwards!

2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣6️⃣ was a busy day on the media front, with unforgettable trips: two 24h races (THAT Toyota heartbreak at Le Mans and the Nordschleife), 3 DTM rounds (Hockenheim, Zandvoort, Hungaroring), 3 WTCC rounds (Slovakia Ring, Hungaroring, Nurburgring), some F3, GT4 action... that feels like yesterday.

Formula Renault 3.5 V8 was still a thing back then. A new generation of Romanian drivers were starting to think big and go abroad. Back home, the seeds of endurance were planted with the first season of the championship. Of course, this also meant our debut as a racing team.

So many lessons learned, valuable experiences and a base we're still building upon.
