Most people think a brand book is a collection of logos, colors and fonts.
It’s not.
A good brand book documents the thinking behind the brand, making it easier for teams, partners and future collaborators to make consistent decisions.
Because brands don’t stay consistent through files.
They stay consistent through shared understanding.
Există materiale care atrag atenția prin culoare sau textură. Și există materiale care schimbă felul în care percepi un spațiu.
Microcimentul face parte din a doua categorie.
Poate fi aplicat pe pardoseli, pereți, mobilier, blaturi, băi sau scări, contribuind la o imagine coerentă și continuă a întregului proiect. Lipsa rosturilor și aspectul său uniform creează senzația de spațiu mai amplu, mai calm și mai bine controlat vizual.
Dincolo de estetică, ne place pentru flexibilitatea pe care o oferă în procesul de design. Ne permite să tratăm suprafețe foarte diferite folosind același material și să construim un limbaj unitar, fără să încărcăm spațiul cu prea multe finisaje.
Ca orice material, nu este soluția potrivită pentru orice proiect.
Dar atunci când este ales în contextul potrivit și executat corect, poate deveni unul dintre elementele care definesc caracterul unui spațiu.

Coherence isn’t a detail. It’s the difference between a venue and a brand.
The first glimpse on Instagram. The café façade. The moment you walk through the door. The cup in your hand. The receipt.
Every one of these moments either strengthens the brand or quietly erodes it.
For mereu., we thought through all of them, one brief, two disciplines, one café in Dubai that says the same thing on every surface.

Visual Identity & Interior Design
Majoritatea spațiilor sunt proiectate pentru ceea ce trebuie să fie în ziua inaugurării.
Puține sunt gândite și pentru ceea ce ar putea deveni.
La Gateway VR Studio, cerințele tehnice ale sistemelor VR: tracking, iluminare, orientare, au devenit limbajul vizual al spațiului. Nu soluții ascunse, ci decizii de design vizibile.
La câteva luni după finalizare, clientul a adăugat coworking. Fără intervenții structurale.
Nu pentru că spațiul fusese proiectat pentru asta.
Ci pentru că fusese proiectat să se adapteze.

For .ae, interior design wasn’t a separate brief. It was the same brief, continued in three dimensions.
Warm materials over cold. Consider lighting over trendy fixtures. Every decision filtered through one question: what does the person feel when they walk in?
When the space and the identity say the same thing, people don’t just notice the café. They remember it.
