Summer Melancholy
Amazing bust sculpted by Is such a joy to paint. I caught the vibes of summer melancholy combined with nostalgia so I tried to transfer it through the paint.
Painted with .official acrylics
Don’t even remember the last time I washed up the figure with isopropyl alcohol to repaint it. Usually it’s easy to fix the mistakes & go ahead but sometimes it’s better to start over.
During painting this bust I tried some new things that I didn’t please me enough, also discovered some issues I did on the priming step, so I decided to start from the beginning.
I’m sure it gives you more confidence & bravery to create piece of art much more better than the previous version.
