Tour in Romania. Transylvania Tour.

Day 1:
Pick up from Bucharest Airport.
Explore the city in the the afternoon including the most important sites of Romania's capital.
The Arc de Triumph, The Parliament Palace, the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon, the Old Court of Bucharest. Overnight in Bucharest

Day 2:
Drive to Snagov. Outside of Bucharest we visit the Snagov Monastery - in 1476 the real Prince Vlad Dracula was buried on this little island where the Monastery is situated.
Drive to Sinaia,visit the Royal Palace in Sinaia - the Peles Castle - considered one of the most beautiful castles in Europe, a masterpiece of German neo-renaissance architecture. Drive to Brasov. Overnight in Brasov

Day 3:
Drive to Bran. Visit Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle) famous for having inspired the legend of Count Dracula;
Lunch at Club Vila Bran, best restaurant in area with amazing sightseeing.
Visit Citadel of Rasnov.
Visit Brasov, the trade center of medieval Transylvania and one of the most visited cities in Romania.
Great sites to visit as the black church, the main square, the old defense walls that are still well preserved on the south and west side of the old city, the watch towers and the narrowest street in Europe are just a few points on this day's agenda. Overnight in Brasov

Day 4:
Drive to Viscri, a rural village where HRH Prince of Wales owns a property, visit the fortified church there, transfer to Sighisoara, visit and overnight in medieval citadel of Sighisoara (UNESCO).

Day 5:
Drive to Biertan, visit Biertan Fortified Church (UNESCO), drive to Sibiu, visit to the ASTRA Outdoor Folk Museum, which is the biggest in Europe and gives you a fantastic insight into traditional rural Romania from around the country. Visit and overnight in Sibiu

Day 6:
Drive to Balea Lake, if the road is open we will drive on Top Gear's most beautiful driving road in the world. It might be closed because of the snow. If closed we drive to Balea Cascada then take a Cable Car up to Balea Lake, where we can visit the Ice Hotel and the Balea Lake.
Drive to Fagaras, visit Fagaras's Fortress (12th - 13th century). Overnight in Fagaras.

Day 7:
Drive to Prejmer, visit Prejmer's Fortified Church (UNESCO), drive to Predeal and Sinaia (Romania's top ski resorts) visit and overnight in Sinaia.

Day 8: Drive to Bucharest. If because of your arrival time we didn't have enough time to visit Bucharest the first day, this day we will visit the rest of the Romanian capital city. Transfer to the airport.

Traditional animal fairs to visit (they are local&rural), and also any other events happening during the tour. Also there are even other activities we can include in the tour if you are interested, such as :

- Visit the Bear Sanctuary located in Zarnesti near Brasov
- Bear Hide experience where you’ll spot wild bears from a forest based hide near Brasov
- Horse Pulled Cart experience
- Overnight and dinner in rural village house
- Ice Hotel overnight
- Gypsy home visit & interaction
- Cheese sampling
- Wine tasting
- Buggy ride, ATV ride

For meals, during our trip we will stop at the best Romanian authentic cuisine restaurants.

Dracula Tour in Transylvania

Dracula Tour in Transylvania , Romania with private driver and personal guide

Day 1: Arrival in Bucharest followed by a private airport transfer to your boutique accommodation in the heart of the Lipscani district. Spend the rest of the day as you choose, perhaps visiting the ruins of the Old Court of Bucharest where Vlad the Impaler resided whilst in Bucharest or simply enjoying the wealth of bars, cafes and restaurants dotted around the old town

Day 2: Morning transfer to Transylvania via Snagov Monastery, where Vlad the Impaler was assassinated and discovered by monks who recovered his headless body. Take the short trip across the water by boat to the island on which the monastery is located and visit the tomb where Dracula was buried. Afterwards, visit the infamous Bran Castle, where Vlad the Impaler was thought to have stayed, and then on to the medieval town of Brasov for an evening of rest and relaxation in Transylvania

Day 3: Morning visit to Rasnov Fortress near Brasov to explore the crumbling ruins built by the Teutonic Knights in Transylvania which was once owned by Dracula’s grandfather, Mircea the Old. Afterwards, transfer to the medieval citadel of Sighisoara, the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, where you can climb the old Clock Tower and walk up the Covered Staircase to the ancient Church on the Hill and wander through the cemetery. Spend the night in boutique accommodation just across Sighisoara’s main square where the young Dracula was born

Day 4: Morning transfer from Sighisoara on the ‘best road in the world’, the Transfagarasan, up to Balea Lake for lunch before travelling to Poienari Castle, the REAL Dracula’s Castle. Spend the afternoon exploring the ruins of the castle where Vlad the Impaler was besieged by the Turks then transfer back through the Transylvanian countryside to Bucharest for your final night

Day 5: Private transfer to Bucharest airport for return flight
