On 19 May 2026, Mr. 𝐆𝐢𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢 𝐃𝐢 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐜𝐨, President of Techno Engineering & Associates Group, participated in the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡, held in Florence, Italy.
Over the years, this initiative has become a well-established meeting point within the international arbitration community, bringing together practitioners from Florence and abroad for professional dialogue, exchange of perspectives, and networking among colleagues and friends of arbitration.
This year’s edition featured Cesar Pereira, President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), as guest speaker, leading a discussion on:

Techno Engineering & Associates Group is pleased to have supported the 3rd edition of the 𝐄𝐧𝐉𝐎𝐘 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, organised by the 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, held on 17–18 April 2026 in Bucharest.

The competition brought together students from various academic levels, offering them the opportunity to engage in a simulated international arbitration under the Rules of the European Court of Arbitration, set within the Romanian jurisdiction.

The hearings were conducted before panels of experienced arbitrators, ensuring a high standard of professional assessment and a realistic arbitration environment. As part of this initiative, TE&A was honoured to present the Techno Engineering & Associates Group (TE&A) 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 to 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐮 𝐅𝐨𝐭𝐚 (Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest), in recognition of his outstanding advocacy and public speaking skills. As part of this distinction, the award includes a two-week internship opportunity within the TE&A’s arbitration department, supporting continued professional development in the field.

This edition continues to reflect the growing importance of arbitration as a practical and dynamic field, while supporting the next generation of professionals in developing essential skills in dispute resolution.

We are also pleased to highlight the leadership of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐉𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚, 𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐫𝐛, President of the European Court of Arbitration – Romanian Chapter, and 𝐌𝐫. The opening session featured remarks from distinguished representatives, including Mr. 𝐄𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧, President of the Turkish Contractors Association; Mr. 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐮 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐮, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Romania in Ankara; Mrs. 𝐘𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐂̧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥, President of SCL Türkiye; and Mr. 𝐑𝐚𝐳𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚, PhD, EMBA, President of Romania.

The event brought together professionals across the construction law and engineering sectors, providing a platform for the exchange of perspectives on contractual frameworks and dispute resolution practices in both jurisdictions.
