The longer we talk about sustainability, the more convinced we become that it is rarely defined by the big moments.
More often, it lives in the small things: in the leftovers from lunch that find their way into compost, in the lights switched off before leaving a room, in the paper that stays unprinted, in the trees planted together, and in the quiet understanding that every choice, however small, leaves a footprint behind.
Perhaps none of these actions seems remarkable on its own. Yet, when repeated day after day, they tell a story about the kind of organisation we want to be and the future we hope to contribute to.
For us, Purple loves green has never been about a single day on the calendar. It is simply our way of remembering that meaningful change is built gradually, through consistency, intention and countless small acts that, together, make a difference.

Yesterday morning, our colleague Alexandra Manciulea joined the ZF (Ziarul Financiar) Bankers Summit 2026 for a discussion alongside Bogdan Cernescu and Raluca Tintoiu on the current financing landscape and the major projects driving activity in the market.
One of the key messages Alexandra highlighted was the resilience of the financing market. Despite inflationary pressures, geopolitical uncertainty and a generally volatile economic environment, financing activity has remained strong. Many of the projects launched in 2025 continue to move forward in 2026, requiring rapid ex*****on, significant funding volumes and close collaboration between lenders, borrowers and advisers.

Last week, Christian Tour reached an important milestone in its story, successfully completing its IPO and taking the next step towards its listing on the Regulated Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
For us, this was one of those projects that remind us why we enjoy working in capital markets: ambitious entrepreneurs, tight timelines, plenty of moving pieces and a team effort from everyone involved.

Last night, we were truly happy to see two of the projects we worked on recognized at the CEE Legal Matters Deal of the Year Awards 2025.
🇷🇴 Our team was awarded 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 for advising DIGI Romania in the acquisition of Telekom Romania Mobile Communications from OTE — a landmark transaction for the Romanian telecom market and one of the defining transactions of the past year.
🇲🇩 We were also proud to be recognized in Moldova, where the “𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐨𝐯𝐚” was selected by the jury as the 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫.
The CEE Legal Matters Deals of the Year Awards celebrate the transactions and projects that help shape the business landscape across Central and Eastern Europe, together with the teams behind them. Receiving this recognition for two mandates across two jurisdictions makes this moment even more special for us.
Most of all, thank you to our clients for their trust and to everyone involved in these projects for the collaboration, resilience and countless hours behind the scenes that made them possible.

We ended this week on a truly lovely note, welcoming a group of high school students enrolled in Joblandia, an initiative of HR Club.
Some of them had already decided they wanted to become lawyers. Others were still exploring their path. We simply tried to give them an honest glimpse into what life in law really looks like — beyond the stereotypes, with all the challenges, learning moments and human connections that come with it.
It was refreshing, thoughtful and full of good questions. And honestly, spending time with people who are just beginning to imagine their future is always a reminder of why these conversations matter.

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫.
This was one of them.
Over the past three days, we stepped away from our desks and spent time together in the beautiful Bucegi Mountains — talking, laughing, walking, playing, reconnecting and simply enjoying each other’s company beyond calls, meetings and deadlines.
Despite the weather forecast, the mountains were kind to us. Between moments of sunshine and light rain, we managed to make the most of every moment together: long walks across the Bucegi plateau, a slightly unconventional treasure hunt that brought out everyone’s creativity and competitive spirit, evenings around the campfire with marshmallows and stories, and many small moments that reminded us how important it is to pause and genuinely connect.
We also took the time to celebrate the colleagues whose energy, kindness, ideas, and contributions make a difference every single day.
A big thank you to our wonderful hosts at Hotel Peștera Wellness & Spa for all the care, warmth and attention throughout the weekend.

✨ Ne-am început săptămâna alături de comunitatea de antreprenori de la STUP, o inițiativă Banca Transilvania dedicată celor care construiesc, cresc și dezvoltă businessuri cu curaj și energie.
Colegele noastre Irina Oprea Șalaru și Cristina Boroseanu au vorbit despre unul dintre subiectele care devin tot mai importante pentru orice companie: protecția datelor și respectarea regulilor GDPR. Discuția a fost una foarte practică, concentrată pe provocările reale cu care se confruntă antreprenorii și pe pașii concreți care pot face diferența în activitatea de zi cu zi.
Ne-am bucurat de o întâlnire plină de întrebări bune, conversații deschise și idei aplicabile imediat — exact genul de dialoguri care ne plac și în care credem.
Mulțumim echipei STUP pentru invitație și tuturor participanților pentru energie și implicare. ✨

A thought that really stayed with us after a recent conversation between our colleague Ioana Roman and Robert Fletcher for CIJ World.
The real estate market in Romania right now feels a bit like both things at once — there is movement, there is appetite, but also a lot more care in how decisions are made. Deals are still happening, just with more attention to what sits behind them.
As Ioana put it:

Weekendul trecut a avut loc etapa finală a dezbaterilor 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐢 𝐝𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲, organizat cu sprijinul Asociaţia Studenţilor în Drept dedicat studenților din anul II. Concursul, deja devenit o tradiție marca Filip & Company, a fost desfășurat în acest an într-una din sălile istorice ale Judecătoriei Sectorului 6 din București.
A fost o zi intensă, plină de pledoarii bine construite, argumente solide și multă energie și entuziasm din partea studenților. Fiecare echipă a impresionat prin calități individuale, dar toate au demonstrat seriozitate, pregătire și pasiune pentru domeniul juridic, ridicând nivelul competiției prin prestații remarcabile.
Deliberarea juriului nu a fost deloc ușoară, întrucât viitorii juriști au reușit să impresioneze prin claritate, logică și persuasiune.
Câștigătorii ediției din acest an au fost Alexuc Mălina și Vasile Raisa-Maria, care au obținut locul I, urmați de Grădinaru Iulia-Maria și Kriesl Alesia Petra Gabriela, clasați pe locul II, în timp ce premiul pentru Best Speaker a fost acordat Marei-Irina Dumitru, iar premiul pentru Best Submission a revenit echipei formate din Bârsan Azara Maria și Dumitrescu Andra-Elena.
Felicităm toate echipele pentru efortul și dedicarea lor, precum și câștigătorii pentru rezultatele obținute.
Organizarea concursului a fost posibilă ca urmare a eforturilor depuse de opt dintre colegii noștri: Alin Grapă, Lucian Epure, Eduard Maxim, Oana-Maria Masichevici, Bogdan Farcane, Alexandru-Nicolae Călin, Roxana LISANDRU, Bianca Voica.
