Joining our label for the 4th release are Dan Andrei and Kozo, under their collaboration named AK41, a fructuous project that offers three highly complex tracks.
On the A side you can find “Icebreaker” solely, an eccentric sound with a steady bassline, percussive kicks, tripping shakers and a thoughtful, mysterious melody that touches all the frequencies of your body. Turning to the B side we find “Swingenious”, a groovier interpretation produced by a combination of spacey feelings and sophisticated instruments that will move every bone on the dancefloor. Closing the EP is “In Memoriam”, a melancholic version that is not short of an aggressive bassline, ambiguous vocals and deep introspects, all aligned to disconnect you from the reality of routine.

For the 3rd release of Anakronik we welcome Andrei Ciubuc, one of the most promising Romanian producers in the past couple of years, who turned over two well-shaped tracks that are different from what you have been used to hear, something elementary in our label’s vision.
On the A-side you can find “Just”, a total banger that has been played by the best of this industry. Highly sophisticated sounds were used in the making of this one, a combination of soft percussions and a heavy bassline that goes farther than unique. Completed by some elusive vocals that will comfort the already complex vibe, this track is ahead of its time.
“Self” of the B-side is picking up where “Just” left of, a more melancholic interpretation of Ciubuc that doesn’t lack the smooth vocals, but differentiating in its atmosphere with very elegant instruments and scratches. You could say that “Just” is the picture of a wondering and pushing question that needs to be answer, “Self” being the calm and most viable answer there is.

After “Genesis” - the first installment on Anakronik Records, which features a remix from Cristi Cons and the “About Trouble” release on BodyParts records, we return with another piece on our imprint: AKR002 named “Guns’N’Roses”. Consisting of the original track that gives the name of the EP and an additional remix from Priku, this definitely could be one to have in the bag.

On the A-side you can find the original, a track with an aggressive bass line that keeps you moving, plus some quirky percussions that we hope will create an exquisite vibe.

Coming on the B-side is Priku’s remix. It’s a little bit slower and deeper, providing another perception of this greatly shaped sound that is full of mystery; this can be excellent choice for a Sunday afternoon session. Expect more wonderful things to come, both on the Anakronik label and on other imprints!
