For a few seconds, there was only one thing on my mind : 114 km D+7000m
The countdown reached zero.
The crowd started moving.
And I had no idea how the next 24h would end.
At that moment, I believed I was about to run all 114 km.
I didn’t.
But that’s the beauty - and sometimes the brutality - of ultra running. You never know what the mountains has planned for you.
Two perspectives.
One start.
