This is a real natural cave formation, not an artificial man-made one. 👀

It forms part of a chain of caves in the Mellieħa area, including the famous 'għar u kaza' (means cave + home). 🤔

You can relax by the pool, they have breakfast and a full menu for lunch, as well as happy hour. 🥂

In the evening, it transforms into a restaurant specialising in fresh fish and sunset views, with entertainment on select occasions. 💃🏻

Best Country for Fireworks? 🤔🤩🌍

Summer is over! ☀️ Are you ready for what comes next on the island of Malta? 🇲🇹

September and October bring some of the best weather to the island... depending on your point of view. 🤔

At the moment, the water temperature will be warmer than the air and the tourists have mostly gone home, so if you're planning to visit Malta or be outdoors on the island... now is the perfect time! ❤️

The south of Malta is a beautiful place to explore, especially along the coastline. 🌊

Located in the area of Marsaskala, there are hiking trails that will take you high above the seaside overlooking St. Thomas bay and the Munxar Window below. 👀

From there you can see the ancient cart ruts carved into the water down below, as well as the many coves and caves that are great for an adventure with family and friends! 🤿

If you travel south out of the bay along the shoreline, you can find several beautiful spots to rest, relax, and explore all day long. 🥰

In this area you'll find shallow sandy or rocky limestone sea floors for snorkeling, but not many fish. For more sealife, head to where the water gets refreshed more and is cooler. 🐠

These people know how to PARTY! 🥳

Forget Comino! 😳 You can find the most beautiful blue Mediterranean waters right in your own backyard if you know where to look! 🤩

Just outside of the village of Xlendi on Malta's sister island of Gozo, you can find hidden caves and secret passageways all over. 👀

Nearby you can find the Sannat Cliffs, a perfect spot to have a quiet picnic and watch the sunset. It's a great area for hiking, especially in the wet season when the island's colors are in full bloom. ❤️

To find this beautiful tunnel, head south out of Xlendi bay along the shoreline until you reach the most crystal clear blue waters you've seen! 😍

You can reach the arch by boat or kayak quickly, or by paddle boards in about 15-25 minutes depending on the wind and seas. 🌊

Secret Pirate Cove? 🤩❤️ Save for your next adventure on the Maltese islands! 🇲🇹

You can only explore this Pirate area by boat or kayak from any one of the surrounding bays of either Għadira in the south or Armier in the north.

In this video, we're focusing on an area called 'Smugglers Cove' or Smugglers Bay in the north of the island of Malta. 🌴

For centuries, Corsair Pirates have roamed the Mediterranean Sea, and legends of their treasures still persist to this day. 😳

This is just one of many areas along the the coastline of the Maltese islands dotted with caves, coves, bays and secret treasures waiting for you to get outside and enjoy them! ❤️

Festival on the island of Malta! 🇲🇹🤩❤️

Celebrating festival on the Maltese islands is a way of life here in the Mediterranean, and one that we all look forward to the whole year. 🥳

In the village of Mellieħa, the local Festa is the first week in September, but celebrations and fireworks start happening as early as the last week of August.

The Grand Finale is on the 7th, with ground fireworks and local live band performances happening all week, so make sure to check the event calendar. 👍
