🇪🇺 Radical Cup Europe - Round 2 🇪🇺

Hello again Spa-Francorchamps! 🇧🇪

After working the first round at Mugello remotely as I unfortunately could not travel to the track, it is good to finally be back in the pits and hear the Radicals roaring.

It was an uncharacteristic (mostly) sunny weekend at the Belgian racetrack. The fun started on Thursday during the official trackday, where the drivers could get reaccustomed to the circuit. Thursday evening was the official Free Practice, and laptime improvements were already under way.

Based on the data and the driver feedback, the vehicle setup was adjusted ahead of the Quali on Friday to offer the drivers more stability mid-corner and the possibility for more aggressive corner exits.

Friday's Race 1 ended with P8 (P3 in Fangio class) , P11 and P14 in the SR3 class. In Race 2, only one driver of Radical Nederland finished the race, in P10 (P5 in Fangio class).

🇳🇱 Radical Benelux Cup - Finale 🇳🇱

Back at the track this weekend with Radical Nederland for the final race weekend of the Radical Benelux Cup, this time on a cold and wet Assen TT Circuit. It was a fantastic experience to provide engineering support for the six Radical SR1s that competed. It was a pleasure to work with each driver and the great guys in the team.

The changing weather, rain showers, wind gusts and cold track made for difficult conditions, posing a challenge for everyone. Despite that, plenty of seconds have been dropped from the laptimes during the weekend, racing lines were improved and experience and confidence was gained.

Congratulations to everyone involved, you are mega! Thank you for trusting me.

🇷🇴 Romanian Endurance Series - Round 4 🇷🇴

Back to the home circuit, , on a slightly strange short configuration that is not well suited for prototypes. Nevertheless, I had the opportunity to engineer three Radical SR3s this weekend.

The SR3 RSX was driven by .ionescu14 who smashed the track record and placed P1 in all sessions. One of the SR3XX Radicals was shared by and , whose feedback is always valuable in setting the car up. The second Radical SR3XX was driven by who put up a good fight throughout the weekend.
