Internal leaks are rarely communication failures. They’re alignment failures.
When information leaks early,
the instinct is to control the outside narrative.
But the real issue sits inside: different levels of understanding, different access to context, different interpretations of urgency.
One useful shift: Don’t just ask “Who shared this?”. Ask “Who didn’t have enough clarity?”
Because information doesn’t leak when it’s fully understood. It leaks when it’s partially interpreted.
