RETIREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT:

After many years baking cakes for so many people in the UK & Qatar, I’m having to take an extended break from continuing to make cakes. I’ve been lucky to spend so much time on my favourite hobby, but after starting a new and demanding job, I really struggle to have time to make cakes (let alone spend time with my family!)

So my last cake for now is quite apt, I made 2 cakes (which were starting to melt in the 40+ degree heat) for my husbands retirement from 22 years in the Royal Navy. So as we both ‘retire’, I just want to thank everyone who has placed an order which has helped me to develop my skills in cake baking/decorating.

If anyone is looking for any great cake bakers in Qatar then my No 1 recommendation would be Emma’s Cakes & Bakes 🧁
