I'm finishing another lettering job for France and Italy, for a magnificent comic book.

I had the pleasure of working on and lettering the Portuguese edition of L'intranquille monsieur Pessoa by Nicolas Barral. The edition was published by Levoir and was released in May this year. Have you had a chance to read it?

It was a pleasure to once again handle the layout and assembly of a new comic book by author Luís Louro. "Os Filhos de Baba Yaga" has just been released and is already set to be a success.

It’s happening this Saturday: a panel on How to Create Comics in Portugal and How to Promote Them, featuring me and Joana Mosi, moderated by Marta G. Navarro, at the HISPACÓMIC Salon in Seville.

This upcoming Saturday, I will be at Hispacómic - Salón del Cómic de Sevilla at 12 PM, participating in a panel on Portuguese comics alongside Joana Mosi. I invite everyone who happens to be in Andalusia to stop by. :)

"Wolverine Hulk" was the comic book that gave me the most joy to letter, and it's been 23 years now, back when Devir still had an editorial department in the north of Portugal. This book required many touch-ups on Sam Kieth's painted artwork, in a time long before AI-powered Photoshop could do half the work for us. There was a lot of cutting and pasting, along with handwritten sections to replace those of Po, the 7-year-old protagonist. Many hours of work, but in the end, it was well worth it, and even today, it's a book I'm proud to have worked on. P.S.: And the story is wonderful.

Outro livro que legendei recentemente para a editora A Seita, foi o mangá "O Meu Marido Dorme no Congelador". Esta história foi publicada em Portugal num único volume, em vez de dois.

It was a tireless race against time, but I managed to complete the Portuguese lettering for the comic book "Edgar: De LISBOA a PARIS, nos passos do meu sogro REVOLUCIONÁRiO" ("Edgar: From LISBON to PARIS, in the footsteps of my REVOLUTIONARY father-in-law")", by Mathieu Sapin, for its launch at the AmadoraBD festival.
