Hack Humanity

In emergency response to the refugee crisis, this weekend in London, Hack Humanity are running a 36-hour hackathon called "One Home", to build prototypes that offer practical solutions for refugees.

We start this Saturday 9am.

We have 3 refugees coming to share their real-life experiences and this will be the focal point for understanding what is needed.

We're gathering a small focused group of technology leaders, designers, engineers, architects, humanitarians and refugees to explore how technology might be used to support refugees and displaced people.

Currently 15-20 people are participating.

Next Weekend Feb 20-22 Klaus Bravenboer is supporting Max Kalis to facilitate a United Nations Hackathon at Rainmaking Loft , several of the Hack Humanity and Hack4Good crew will also be attending.

The purpose of this hackathon is to create solutions that enable the UN and the public to work more effectively together.
