Spring is in the air 🌸
Creating a soft spring soundtrack using flowers and a tiny MIDI controller.
For this setup, I connected pastel-colored carnations to my Playtron. Each flower responds with its own soft tone, like a delicate melody of spring. Additionally, I added a soft Wurlitzer melody and jazzy beat to the sound of the Playtron Jam, to create a cool and relaxed spring vibe.

I love how it turned out. ✨🌈

New toy on the table! ✨
I got the Playtron from to get creative with it – a MIDI controller that turns almost anything into an instrument. Thanks so much for sending this to me! :)
I’ve already had so much fun experimenting with the Biotron and Orbita. They really opened up new creative ways to make music.

Now I got the Playtron to explore, and I’m so curious to see what kind of sounds and setups I can create with it. Huge thanks to for sending it over! I’m excited to dive in and get playful with this one! 🌈🎶
Stay tuned, I’ll share my first creative experiment with it very soon.

Right after visiting Camden Recording Studios, my Dublin sound journey continued at the legendary Windmill Lane Recording Studios: a place where decades of Irish music history meet the future of sound. 🇮🇪✨

From U2, The Cranberries, and Kate Bush to Ed Sheeran and many more, Windmill Lane has hosted some of the most iconic recordings of all time. Walking through those rooms felt like stepping into the heart of Irish creativity. Every wall seems to hum with stories of music, innovation, and emotion.

During my visit, I had an inspiring exchange with Managing Director Tony Perrey about how Windmill Lane not only preserves this heritage but also shapes the next generation of artists and producers. Through its partnership with Pulse College, it became the first in Ireland to offer a "Degree in Audio and Music Technology". Students there get the unique chance to learn directly within this historic studio environment: collaborating on real sessions and projects alongside professional producers and major artists. 🎓🎶

It’s an incredible model of how education and industry can merge, combining tradition, hands-on experience, and cutting-edge technology to nurture future talent.

Ireland itself has such a vibrant, creative energy. You can feel inspiration in the air everywhere you go. I left Windmill Lane deeply moved by the spirit of this place and filled with new ideas for my own work. 💫

Just a few days ago, I had the incredible chance to visit the legendary Camden Recording Studios in Dublin — one of Ireland’s most iconic creative spaces. Studio owner and producer Cian Boylan gave some insights and talked about the studio’s rich history, its unique sound philosophy, and the many local and also international artists who have recorded here. From Hozier and The Script to film composers and rising indie acts.
What truly fascinated me was the studio’s blend of vintage analog gear and cutting-edge modern technology, creating that warm yet detailed sonic character Camden is known for. The atmosphere there is very special. You can almost hear the creative energy in the walls. ✨

2026. NEW YEAR. NEW MUSIC.
This year feels like a true reset: Filled with songs, sessions and those magical studio moments that stay with us long after the last note fades. For 2026, wishing you a year filled with joy, music, love and meaningful moments that make your heart feel at home 💙.

I started the new year in Dublin ☘️🇮🇪. A city full of music, energy, and community spirit. Such a great place to spend New Years Eve and celebrate the new year, cause music's just everywhere.

In times like these, music is needed more than ever: as comfort, as an outlet, as a place to dream and as a gentle reminder that we are connected, even when the world feels uncertain. May your year be filled with:

✨Melodies that carry you through long nights
✨Lyrics in which you recognize yourself
✨Beats that make you dance, laugh and let go

I’m excited for new songs, new collaborations and all the stories that will come to life in and outside the studio in 2026. Thank you for being part of this musical journey 🙏Your support means more than words can say. Sending you lots of love and all the good vibes 🍀 for this new musical chapter 🎵.

If you're looking for new sounds for your songs, but you're in Stranger Things mode just before the new season 5...
It's not the Prophet-5 or Juno-106/Juno-6, but I think the Arturia MicroFreak would also be a good source of sound ideas. If there is ever a new season or a remake, just let me know. I have a few ideas :D

Exploring Lisbon through sound 🎶
City streets, waterfront rhythms, and the aroma of roasting chestnuts. With my Zoom H4n Pro Field Recorder, I captured vibrant moments that breathe life into new music: the energy of busy avenues, the gentle touch of water, water drops falling on a desk in front of a cafe, and unexpected harmonies from everyday scenes. I’m really curious to see if and how these sounds will find their way into my upcoming songs. This experience definitely sparked my creative energy, was a lot of fun and is a wonderful way to explore a city by the way. More to come soon.

A little evening jam session with what is probably the world's smallest keyboard.
I love taking this MonKEY midi keyboard from with me when I travel so I can play around with it and develop new ideas. So cool!

It's Playtime! 🎛️✨🎈
I recently received the Orbita from and, of course, tried it out right away. Its appearance alone makes you want to test it out more thoroughly. I saw it live and in color for the first time at sooperbooth and definitely wanted to try it out again in more detail.

The Orbita is a hands-on, rotating musical sequencer that transforms music-making into a physical experience. Created by Playtronica, Orbita allows users to craft rhythms and melodies by arranging and moving magnets across its spinning platform, enabling live composition. It definitely is a fun and interactive way to explore and create music.
As an aesthete, I enjoy it twice as much when gear is visually appealing, creatively designed, and has a high-quality feel.

The video is coming soon! :)

🎶 Vinyl-Liebhaber aufgepasst! 🎶
