Summer is over but sardines never are in Malaga.
While touring the white villages of Andalusia, we stopped in Archidona to view its 18th century octagonal central square.
It is one of the most valuable squares of the Andalusian Baroque period. Originally, it was conceived as dwelling but was also used as a bull ring and for trade related activities.
in 2007, this square received the recognition as Primera Maravilla (Top Wonder) of the Malaga province.

These days, we cannot go to exotic places as we used to...
Until the situation normalizes, we have chosen to spend more time in the south of Spain, an area that we know well and where we do not have visa issues...
We are taking advantage of this time to get even more familiar with the beautiful white villages of Andalucia.
Do visit Andalucia. You won't be disappointed. It is an amazing region rich in history and with very friendly people.
