A group of teachers from Bari, Italy, recently joined us in Figueira da Foz for an Erasmus+ training programme designed to strengthen both professional and personal skills in education 🇵🇹 🇮🇹

The programme explored topics such as stress management, intercultural awareness, conflict resolution, emotional well-being and inclusive communication, encouraging participants to exchange ideas and practical approaches that can be applied in their daily work.

Beyond the training sessions, the group also had the opportunity to discover Portugal through visits to Porto, Coimbra, Nazaré and Aveiro, combining learning with cultural exchange and local experiences.

Another Erasmus+ mobility that brought together education, collaboration and new perspectives across borders. 🇪🇺

Four weeks, five different sectors, one unforgettable experience.

This group of Italian students swapped the classroom for real workplaces across Portimão, gaining hands-on experience in tourism, hospitality 🍽️, administration 💼, early childhood education 🧸 and horse care 🐴.

In a city where welcoming people is part of everyday life, these sectors help keep Portimão moving all year round. And the best way to understand them? By being part of them.

Along the way, they developed new skills, met inspiring professionals and discovered that some of the best lessons don't happen behind a desk.

Our Italian students are making the most of their Erasmus+ experience in Faro, where they are currently completing the third week of their four-week mobility.

Across the city, they are contributing to a wide range of organisations and businesses, gaining valuable professional experience in an art gallery 🎨, retail 🛍️, architecture 🏛️, hospitality as waiters and baristas ☕, and as assistant teachers supporting children in educational settings 🧒📚.

With Faro welcoming thousands of visitors during the summer, this is one of the most dynamic times of the year to experience the workplace, develop new skills, adapt to different environments and discover the value of international teamwork.

We wish them a fantastic final week and many more unforgettable memories in Portugal!

Portimão Calling... 🇵🇹⚓🇪🇸

For many people, Portimão is the perfect place for a holiday. For this group of Spanish Erasmus+ students, it has become the perfect place to start building their professional future.

Now in the third week of their four-week mobility, the participants are gaining valuable experience in boat maintenance, including mechanical repairs, painting and carbon fibre work, while others are developing their skills in administration. ⚓🔧🎨🛥️💼

Working just a short distance from the sea, they are discovering an industry that is part of Portimão's identity, learning from experienced professionals and turning classroom knowledge into real workplace experience.

With just one week to go, they already have plenty to be proud of, and we look forward to seeing them finish their journey on a high.

This group of Spanish students completed their professional internships in Portimão, taking their first steps in Portuguese workplaces across different sectors 💻📂👨‍🏭🔩👩‍⚕️🧓

Their days were filled with very different responsibilities. Some supported office documentation and administrative procedures, while others developed their programming knowledge in a professional environment. Several worked alongside teams caring for older adults, where patience, empathy and responsibility were essential, while another participant discovered the practical side of metalworking.

This Erasmus+ mobility was more than an opportunity to improve technical skills. Working in another country encouraged the students to communicate in a different environment, adapt to new routines and become more independent. These are lessons that cannot always be learned in the classroom, but can make a real difference as they prepare for their professional futures.

We would like to thank all the companies in Portimão that welcomed the students, shared their knowledge and gave them the opportunity to be part of their daily work 💪.

Kielce Brought the Talent, Figueira da Foz Took Care of the Rest 🇵🇱 🇵🇹

It’s time to say goodbye to our students from Kielce, who have completed their Erasmus+ internships in Hospitality and Economics in Figueira da Foz.

During their stay, they worked alongside Portuguese professionals, became part of local teams and experienced working life in Portugal. Along the way, they gained valuable professional experience, developed new skills and became more confident communicating in an international environment.

They arrived ready to learn and are now returning home with much more: new knowledge, new friendships and plenty of memories from Portugal. This experience was not only about preparing for their future careers, but also about growing, adapting and learning from the people around them. 🌍

Another group says goodbye to Figueira da Foz, but new stories are always just around the corner. Até breve! 👋

Different Skills, One Faro Story 🇵🇹 🇩🇪

Week 2 is already here, and our German Erasmus+ group is making the most of every opportunity in Faro!

Working across a wide range of sectors, the students are building practical skills, gaining confidence and experiencing everyday professional life in Portugal. From IT, where they support digital solutions, to Veterinary Clinics, caring for animal health, and Childhood Education, helping to create positive learning environments, each placement offers valuable hands-on experience. . 💻🐾📚

Others are developing their skills in Dog Care and Horse Care, working closely with animals and their wellbeing, while those in Administration are discovering how businesses operate behind the scenes and how teamwork keeps everything running smoothly. 🐶🐴

And when the workday ends, Faro continues to impress with its sunshine, friendly atmosphere and beautiful surroundings, proving that learning abroad is about much more than the workplace.

We're excited to see what the second half of this adventure will bring. Keep up the fantastic work! 👏

When your internship means travelling almost 10,000 km... you know it's going to be an adventure. 🌍✈️🇷🇪 🇵🇹

For the past two months, nine students from Réunion Island have been calling Portimão home while gaining hands on experience in Administration and Business Management through their Erasmus+ mobility.

Between learning how Portuguese companies operate, improving their communication skills, adapting to a new working culture and discovering life in the Algarve, they have grown both professionally and personally.

And Portimão? Well... it's not a bad place to spend two months. 😉☀️

Thank you for bringing your enthusiasm, curiosity and positive energy all the way from the Indian Ocean to Portugal. We hope you leave with new skills, unforgettable memories and plenty of reasons to come back one day.

🇮🇹 So... who said learning only happens in a classroom? 🤌

For the past three weeks, 16 Italian students have been turning Faro into their workplace, their classroom and, little by little, a place to call home. 🇵🇹

They've been welcoming guests at hotel receptions, serving customers in restaurants, supporting children as assistant teachers and sharing unforgettable moments at a local surf club through outdoor activities. Every placement offers a different challenge, but they all have one thing in common: learning by doing.

And because an Erasmus+ experience is also about discovering a country, their trip to Lisbon added another chapter to an adventure they'll remember for years. 📸

One final week is still ahead, and we're excited to see what else they'll achieve before heading back to Italy. 💙
