Custom Caiaques

Took the boat out for a test today. It performed even better than expected and was so much fun! :) Got it planing with just a small 4hp motor and up to a maximum speed of 26.2kmh.

The new boat is starting to take shape. Could do with coming up with a name for it - any bright ideas?

talking to a mate at work the other day about a little kids race boat he built once (not for a little kid!), we decided it would be fun to come up with our own designs, build them and have a race. they will be powered by a 4hp outboard and due to the small size and lightweight, hopefully they'll be quite nippy. this is what i currently have planned. its about 2.3m x 1m, will be made from just over 2 sheets of ply and should only weigh about 10-15kg.

Took the Mill Creek out for a quick spin today and had a little play with the camera.

The Mill Creek and Sea Kayak are still for sale. 500€ and 700€ (the sea kayak now includes the rudder system). Or 1000€ if you want them both!

Finally tested the rudder out and it works great! As a special deal, since it's the first rudder I've made, I'll include it with the kayak for the same price of 700€.

I need to clear some space for the next kayak build so I have for sale a 13m PeterLynn venom power kite. Includes bar, lines and harness. Can be used on land or water.

Might have to join in with this.
