A limited edition silver coin "𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝", was unveiled today at the National Press-Mint in Lisbon. It results from a collaboration between my research group and the National Mint. I am thrilled with this project that allowed us to use and develop new computational creativity techniques. Obviously, a coin has two sides. In this case, one side was designed by AI for humans and the other by humans for AI. With this, we wish to represent the reality where the natural and the artificial are inseparable and promote and support human-machine collaboration.

Congratulations to the amazing team: João Bicker, Amílcar Cardoso, João Nuno Correia, João Miguel Cunha, Luís Espírito Santo, Nuno Lourenço, Sérgio Rebelo, Tiago Martinss
