One of my biggest joys has always been designing table settings and tailoring them to the client's personality, occasion, and theme.
We opted for blending natural elements and textures with distinctive Portuguese plates from Bordalo pinheiro for this surprise outdoor event, and we enhanced the whole visual experience with custom-created menu and table name cards.

Portuguese cultural heritage:
Have you ever heard of the architectural features of Portuguese Manoelism? It's a distinctive aesthetic that first appeared at the beginning of the 16th century, under Portuguese King Manuel I.

It is characterized by Distinctive details that incorporate elements of Gothic, Renaissance, and Islamic styles. The use of decorative motifs like twisted ropes, nautical embellishments like shells and anchors, botanical forms as oval-shaped sphere and Order of Christ cross are hallmarks of this unique facade design style.

The Jeronimos Monastery in Lisbon, Portugal (captured by film photographer ) is one of the most recognizable representatives of Manoelism architecture. Portuguese maritime tradition and affinities to other cultures are reflected in its magnificent facade’s complex carvings and artistic accents.
