We’re pleased to welcome Georgina “Georgie” Vega Porrata-Doria to the jury for Biolumina’s 2027 cohort. Georgie brings decades of experience connecting contemporary art with place, ecology, and community through her work with and beyond.

We’re grateful to have her perspective as part of this year’s selection process.

Intercambio artístico une a estudiantes de Arts Academy Elementary Charter School en Allentown y Vieques, Puerto Rico ALLENTOWN, Pa.- El arte se ha convertido en un puente que conecta culturas, comunidades y generaciones.

Casa Mi Rey Foundation was founded in Vieques as a response to the need for cultural continuity and community-centered artistic dialogue.

Through exhibitions, workshops, and Biolumina Artist Residency, we support local artists while creating meaningful exchange beyond the island.

We are committed to building sustainable cultural infrastructure rooted in place.

Open Studio with the Artist: Sandra Reyes

Join us for an intimate open studio visit with Sandra Reyes, where you’ll explore her latest works, learn about her creative process, and engage directly with the artist in her working space.

As part of this gathering, visitors are invited to support her community initiative through the collection of plastic bottle caps.
