Big day for Brose, finally getting to meet Flame at the LCMS Youth Gathering

The whole family headed down to Ponce today where we celebrated the divine service together with the members there. It was great to get a visit from Pastor David Woolsey, who was on vacation. He was vicar in Guatemala way back when my journey in Spanish began. We hung out after service in the plaza downtown and bought some of these little green fruits called “quenepa” from a guy selling them in the park.

A great day at Cordero de Dios as five new members were confirmed! Always great having the Sharp Family Singers in the choir.

Always a blessing to be at Mission Central, especially this year for the annual Denison Circuit Ascension Day Service. Jesus ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father for you!

Today I drove down to preach and conduct the service in Ponce. In all of our missions, we prayed a special litany asking God to protect us in the upcoming hurricane season that begins June 1. “From wind and storm, from water and flood, from disaster and calamity, save us, o Lord.”
