La Rosa

"La Rosa", is a family project run by sisters Maria & Pamela with the support and help of our father Manuel. It was our vision to create a little piece of paradise in the heart of Ocean Park; a magical place that felt fresh, tropical, relaxed and familiar. The house had been abandoned for a couple of years before our parents acquired it and with careful & conscious planning we developed and transformed it into 5 short-term rental apartments. They are each named after the birthstones of our 6 family members: Esmeralda, Topacio, Ópalo, Rubí & Aguamarina, and each has been decorated based on its gemstone’s colors. Every space was designed to feel like the home of your "designer-cool friend" that lent you his/her apartment for your getaway vacation. La Rosa is also home to Lasso HQ, a small local business that we form part of with our brother Manuel. Since 2013 Lasso is one of the pioneer brands offering 100% original, handmade rope accessories for dogs.
