Christmas season is coming and the mood is celebratory.

I made this photograph at the Lemontree in November a year or so ago about 7PM. As the winter solstice approaches the sun rise and sunset both become viable from the terraces at the south facing Lemontree. I post this as a reminder that the sun still rises and sets on the Lemontree and that for those looking for an opportunity to renew themselves we are still here. Out at the Lighthouse, yesterday checking out the waves... and it reminded me that the pounding surf on the rocks is frequently taken as an indication of strong emotion and of the inevitability of change. We have been through a period of strong affect and will come through the changes that are yet unfolding.

We'll just be over here at the Lemontree, doing a happy dance because of the swells that are in this week. Enjoy!
