Stay safe during this weather event! For our clients or anyone powering their homes with solar - today and yesterday you will not generate much power from your solar panels. Your battery may be low! It is advised to set your inverter to charge your battery from the grid to ensure you have a full battery in the event of LUMA outage. For our clients with EG4 inverters (most of you), you can start a "quick charge" via the app - but be aware this charges the battery for about 1 hours, NOT until it is full. If you'd like to change your inverter settings to fill your battery and maintain it full until this weather event passes and the sun returns, follow these steps (images attached but not in order):

1) In the app, click the settings icon (bottom right)
2) Click on Working Mode settings button
3) Click on AC Charge
4) Set AC Charge based on TIME
5) Set the first time slot end time to 23:59 (see images)

This will maintain your battery charged from the grid as long as grid is available. If the grid goes down, you'll be ensured to have a full battery. When the storm passes, you can disable this to resume normal solar operations.

Grid is down, island wide. If you're our customer you probably didn't even know... :)
