Juan Leonardo Hernández Rodríguez is an educator, author, and entrepreneur with a diverse background in education, creativity, and game-based learning. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English with Multimedia Technology from the University of Puerto Rico in 2011 and later served as a Military Police Officer in the U.S. Army from 2014 to 2022. He is also the author of the fantasy novel La Tierra de Natura: El Viaje, published in 2015. Since 2018, he has worked as an English educator with the Puerto Rico Department of Education. In 2023, he became the sole owner of StarGames, where he has focused on using games as an educational tool to help hundreds of children learn while having fun. 🎮📚

Meet our Presenters! 🎯
María Isabel Rosado Morales is an educator and communication enthusiast with over eight years of experience teaching students of different ages and academic levels. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education in English K-12 from Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Aguadilla Campus. Her experience includes tutoring, private schools, homeschooling, and Puerto Rico’s public education system. She is also a former FBLA competitor who excelled in prepared and impromptu speaking competitions. As a key member of StarGames, María works in supervision, marketing, and project development. Together with Juan Leonardo Hernández Rodríguez, she promotes the use of board games and role-playing games as educational tools that foster creativity, learning, communication, and socialization. Through StarGames, she has participated in community workshops and visited schools throughout Puerto Rico, creating opportunities for children and young people to learn, connect, and have fun through play. 🎲📚
