PL: 🏁Drugi wyścig weekendu na Circuit Zandvoort dostarczył kibicom dokładnie tego, czego można oczekiwać od Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland – zaciętej walki, licznych pojedynków i emocji aż do samej mety.

👏Już na pierwszym okrążeniu doszło do zamieszania w trzecim zakręcie, co mocno przetasowało stawkę.

🙁Niestety pech nie ominął Gustava Burtona. Kierowca Forch Racing by Atlas Ward już na trzecim okrążeniu zgłosił problemy z samochodem i ostatecznie był zmuszony zjechać do alei serwisowej, kończąc swój udział w wyścigu przed metą.

Środkowa część rywalizacji obfitowała w ogromną liczbę pojedynków i zmian pozycji. Na torze nie brakowało kontaktów i incydentów, a sytuacja była na tyle dynamiczna, że ostatecznie konieczna była interwencja samochodu bezpieczeństwa.

Po wznowieniu rywalizacji świetnie spisywał się Montego Maassen, który awansował na 2 pozycję w klasyfikacji Rookie, utrzymując bardzo dobre tempo w walce o podium.

The action started immediately on the opening lap, with an incident at Turn 3 causing significant disruption throughout the field and forcing drivers to exercise extra caution.

Unfortunately, luck was not on Gustav Burton’s side. The Forch Racing by Atlas Ward driver encountered technical issues on lap three and was ultimately forced to return to the pits, ending his race prematurely.

The middle phase of the race featured constant position changes and numerous on-track battles. With several incidents occurring throughout the field, the situation eventually required the deployment of the Safety Car.

After the restart, Montego Maassen continued to impress, moving up to second place in the Rookie classification while maintaining strong pace in the fight for a podium finish.

Louis Perrot also delivered an outstanding performance. The Forch Racing by Atlas Ward driver steadily worked his way through the field, overtaking rival after rival and gaining an impressive five positions compared to his starting spot.

With seven minutes remaining, the Safety Car was deployed once again, setting up a dramatic finish. Following the restart, Montego Maassen lost one position in the Rookie classification, dropping from second to third, but successfully held onto a podium place until the checkered flag.

🔧 The cars involved in the incident caused significant damage to the barriers, which had to be repaired before the race could continue.

⛽ Throughout the suspension, all cars have remained under parc fermé conditions. Teams are only allowed to adjust tyre pressures and refuel the cars.

📊 The restart order will be based on the positions held when the first part of the race was stopped by the red flag.

⏱️ Technically, the race has never ended and it is still considered the same event. As a result, it is shaping up to be one of the longest races in Porsche Carrera Cup history.

😃 Speaking of records, the longest race in the history of the series lasted for more than 17 hours. Back in 2013,Robert Lukas finished an impressive second in that extraordinary event.

🏁Pierwszy wyścig weekendu Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland na Circuit Zandvoort, rozgrywanego wspólnie z serią DTM, rozpoczął się od bardzo intensywnej rywalizacji. Na starcie stanęły aż 32 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. Dodatkowym utrudnieniem była bardzo śliska nawierzchnia, która od początku sprawiała kierowcom sporo problemów.

Start przebiegł bez większych incydentów, a zawodnicy szybko ustabilizowali swoje pozycje.

Po około 8 minutach rywalizacji Race Control poinformowało jednak o analizie startu, publikując komunikat „Start Under Investigation”.

Zawodnicy Forch Racing by Atlas Ward bardzo dobrze rozpoczęli wyścig Gustav Burton, Louis Perrot oraz Montego Maassen. Cała trójka uniknęła problemów na pierwszych okrążeniach i do momentu przerwania rywalizacji utrzymywała swoje pozycje wywalczone wcześniej w kwalifikacjach.

Niestety około 10 minuty wyścigu doszło do bardzo groźnego wypadku w pierwszym zakręcie. W zdarzeniu uczestniczyły trzy samochody, a najbardziej uszkodzone zostały auta Sörena Sprenga oraz Maxa Mutschlechnera. Na tor natychmiast wyjechał samochód bezpieczeństwa, jednak skala zniszczeń okazała się na tyle duża, że dyrekcja wyścigu podjęła decyzję o wywieszeniu czerwonej flagi.

Po ponad 20 minutach od zatrzymania rywalizacji służby torowe wciąż pracowały nad uprzątnięciem miejsca zdarzenia oraz naprawą uszkodzonych barier. Na ten moment wyścig pozostaje wstrzymany.

The opening race of the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland weekend at Zandvoort, held alongside the DTM series, began with intense competition. A total of 32 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars lined up on the grid. Adding to the challenge was the extremely slippery track surface, which caused difficulties for drivers right from the start.

The race got underway without any major incidents, and the field quickly settled into position.

However, after approximately eight minutes of racing, Race Control announced that the start was being reviewed, displaying the message “Start Under Investigation.”

The Forch Racing by Atlas Ward drivers - Gustav Burton, Louis Perrot, and Montego Maassen - all made strong starts. The trio avoided trouble during the opening laps and, up until the race suspension, were holding the positions they had secured in qualifying.

Unfortunately, around the 10-minute mark, a major accident occurred at Turn 1. Three cars were involved in the incident, with the vehicles of Sören Spreng and Max Mutschlechner sustaining the most significant damage. The Safety Car was immediately deployed, but the extent of the damage proved so severe that Race Control decided to suspend the race and display the red flag.

More than 20 minutes after the stoppage, track crews were still working to clear the accident scene and repair the damaged barriers. At the time of writing, the race remains suspended.
