We are, of course, talking about non-touristic locomotives working with normal freight trains in different factories. In Bosnia π§π¦, you can still find the famous 1944 German "Kriegsloks" in regular service at the Sikulje and Dubrave coal mines. This is due to the mine's poor financial situation. Surprisingly, keeping their steam locomotives in active service is cheaper for them than buying even a used diesel!
π¨ The canvas shows the departure of two series 33 steam locomotives with a heavy coal train from the Sikulje mine towards the Lukavac state railway station.
