We mourn the untimely death of Dr. Tahir Shamsi whose contribution towards the field of hematology shall always be remembered. Dr. Shamsi was pioneer of bone marrow transplantation in Pakistan and renowned academician and researcher. He was always eager to participate in academic activities organized by our Department of Oncology at HMC, Peshawar and joined us multiple times in our CME activities. He will be dearly missed by his colleagues, students and patients. May Allah bless his soul and give him highest place in Jannah, Amen.

You are requested to disseminate this information for benefit of all cancer patients. Vaccine is only for cancer patients and immunocompromised patients (transplant recepients etc). No requests from any non-cancer or non-imunocompromised patients will be entertained.
