SESSION ON DIGITAL AND MEDIA LITERACY

AviCina Tech Center Team has conducted a Session on Literacy and Media Literacy on 23 March 2023. In this session 25 Participants has participated. Mr Johar Ali Shah and Israr Hussain through slides show the participants How has revolutionized the Tech and increase the productivity of Human being.
Johar Ali has given a short introduction to Artificial Intelligence AI. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a field of computer science that involves the creation of intelligent machines that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and language translation. AI is based on the idea that machines can learn and improve on their own through the use of algorithms and data.

Digital and literacy are essential skills in the modern world, where people are constantly bombarded with information from various sources. Digital literacy refers to the ability to use digital tools and technologies effectively, while media literacy is the ability to access, analyze, and evaluate media messages.

Media literacy is equally important as it enables individuals to critically evaluate media messages, including news articles, advertisements, and social media posts. Media literacy helps individuals to identify biases and misinformation, and to make informed decisions based on the information they receive.

Both digital and media literacy are essential for individuals to participate fully in the digital world and to make informed decisions. As such, it is important for individuals to develop these skills through and programs. Schools, universities, and community organizations can play a vital role in promoting digital and media literacy by providing access to digital tools and technologies and by teaching individuals how to use them effective.

Meet Zeeshan Karim S/O Ulfat Karim one of our active , Dedicated and Committed Members of Tech center has arranged three weeks Microsoft Office classes for the students of Jamalabad.
He has taught the students ,How to work on Excel , Words and PowerPoint. He also has taught the students of age 4 to age 6 how to use computer and Work on Paint.
