Aldea National High School proudly joins the celebration of Solo Parents Week!

With the theme “Hindi ka Nag-iisa sa Iyong Pag-iisa: Yakap at Kalinga para sa Solo Parent,” we recognize the strength, sacrifices, and unconditional love of our solo parents who continue to inspire our learners and community every day.

From April 13–18, 2026, we stand in unity to honor and support every solo parent—reminding them that they are seen, valued, and never alone.

Let us continue to build a compassionate and inclusive school community where every family is celebrated. 💙

In celebration of National Women’s Month, the students of Aldea National High School showcased their creativity and advocacy through a Poster and Slogan Making Contest inspired by the spirit of the Babaylan—a symbol of wisdom, strength, and leadership of women in the community.

Through every stroke of art and every powerful word, our students highlighted that women continue to lead change, inspire communities, and shape a more equal and empowered future.

With this year’s theme, “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society,” and subtheme Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!” we raise our voices and change our frames in solidarity—honoring the strength, leadership, and limitless potential of every Filipina.

Sa pagdiriwang natin ng buwan na ito, hindi lang natin aalalahanin ang kagalingan at katapangan ng bawat babaeng Pilipino. Isasabuhay rin natin ang makabagong Babaylan — nangunguna, lumalaban, pinakikinggan, at may paninindigang kasingtatag ng ating pinagmulan.

In a world that often measures success by a paycheck or a title, it is so important to shift the focus toward character and contentment. We want our children to grow up realizing that the most valuable things in life such as friendship, integrity, and a peaceful heart do not come with a price tag.

By teaching them to find joy in experiences and kindness in their actions, we are giving them a wealth that can never be lost. Let’s raise kids who chase passions, not just profits!
