Merry Christmasโ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿ’“๐ŸŽ„
No words can express how happy they are for receiving all your gifts. This will never be possible without the help of all the people who willingly took part in for the gifts, snacks/food and genuine kindness to the children of Rehoboth.
To the family, friends and especially to the parents of tutees from Daffodil's Tutorial Center who shared their blessings and made an effort for the presents. We made sure that all of them were carefully received.๐ŸŽโฃ๏ธ

May God blesses you more and grant all your wishes this Christmas also.๐Ÿ˜‡โฃ๏ธ

And to Rehoboth Sampaloc Ministries , thank you all for letting us in to your home and also to your heart. Thanks to the nice Directress, home parents and to all the children. And thank u also for your wonderful gift.โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ’“

Where we do one-Tutor-one-Tutee or one- -on-one teaching approach to meet better understanding on specific areas they need an improvement or follow up lessons like reviews or assignment.๐Ÿ™‚

We shouldn't talk about Autism as if it's a general knowledge that everyone can just pretend they understand and sugarcoat things. It's not helping.๐Ÿ˜‰ Handling children with special needs isn't a play that we could just take a break and start again whenever we want but rather a continous process of learning and guidance for them to navigate social situation, adapting to change and manage challenges that they may face in life. It can also build a stronger relationship between the child and the people around.

1. Talk them kindly but with authority. ~ not to make them afraid of u but for them to know there are people they need to listen to.

2. Teach them repeatedly not to traumatized them but to have a routine that provide predictability and structure to minimize stress or anxiety. ~to creat effective learning environment

*minimizing distractions
*positive reinforcement
*individualized approach

3. Turn the subject into small chunks that they can grasps in meaningful ways. Learning is crucial with them but appropriate strategies and helps, allows them to reach full potential.

4. Social Interaction/Emotional Regulation is an important factors need to consider before engaging them to make it a positive development.

5. Collaboration is ESSENTIAL same as Support.
~taking care of CSN is a collaborative process "not a competition". Effective outcome can be seen when the supporters have same goal, following processes and exerting efforts.

It's easy to say we love and care about them but doing something about it GENUINELY is another matter.๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’ž

Set a goal, let them have a mistakes and learn from it. Educate them in the easiest way but make sure it's a long term knowledge. Let them learn from doing. Learning should not be a pressure for them but interesting and achievable. โœจ๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
