Pinaagi sa mga Certificate of Affirmation (COA) nga gi-isyu sa National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), mipanumpa sa ilang katungdanan isip mga representante sa Manobo Indigenous Peoples sa ilang tagsa-tagsa ka Barangay Legislative Councils ang pipila ka mga lider Lumad sa atubangan ni Municipal Mayor Pauline Marie R. Masendo, RN.

LOOK | DILG TO LGUs: CUT ENERGY USE, SHIFT TO 4-DAY ONSITE WORK

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), through Memorandum Circular No. 2026-023, is urging all Local Government Units (LGUs) to adopt energy conservation measures in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

The directive pushes LGUs to immediately implement practical steps to reduce power consumption and optimize government resources, including:

โšก 24ยฐC standard for air-conditioning
โšก Virtual meetings for coordination
โšก Limited official travel to essential functions
โšก Improved fuel and fleet efficiency
โšก Reduced elevator use, when practicable
โšก Adoption of a four-day onsite work arrangement
โšก Full rollout of the Government Energy Management Program (GEMP)

The DILG said the move comes amid ongoing geopolitical tensions, stressing the need for government to lead in conserving energy and ensuring efficient use of public funds.

Pinasikad sa Municipal Ordinance No. 358-2023 (Rabies Prevention and Control), gipahibalo sa atong Lokal nga Panggamhanan sa tanang residente nga hugot nang ipatuman kini nga ordinansa nga naglangkob sa mga lakang aron mapugngan ug makontrol ang rabies sa atong lungsod.

๐Ÿ“Œ Mga Mahinungdanong Punto sa Ordinansa:

๐Ÿ• Pagrehistro ug Pagpabakuna sa mga Iro
Ang tanang tag-iya sa iro obligado nga magparehistro ug magpabakuna batok sa rabies sa ilang mga alagang iro.

๐Ÿ• Pagkontrol sa mga Iro
Kinahanglan nga itali o ipabilin sulod sa kulungan ang mga iro. Dili tugotan ang mga stray dogs o mga iro nga maglibot-libot sa komunidad.

๐Ÿ• Responsibilidad sa Tag-iya sa Iro Kung Makapaak
Kung ang iro makapaak ug tawo, ang tag-iya sa iro maoy responsable sa pagdala sa biktima sa doktor ug pagbayad sa 100% nga gastusin sa pagtambal, ilabi na kung napamatud-an nga negligence o walaโ€™y provocation.

๐Ÿ• Pagreport sa Rabies Cases
Ang mga residente gidasig sa pagreport sa tanang kaso sa rabies o kahadlokan nga rabies sa tawo ug hayop ngadto sa Municipal Veterinary Office.

โš–๏ธ Mga Silot:

โ€ข First Offense: โ‚ฑ500 o 2 ka adlaw nga community service
โ€ข Second Offense: โ‚ฑ1,000 o 3 ka adlaw nga community service / posible nga prisohon
โ€ข Third Offense: โ‚ฑ2,500 o 5 ka adlaw nga community service / posible nga prisohon

Ang paglapas sa responsibilidad sa tag-iya sa iro sa kaso sa dog bite mahimong silotan og โ‚ฑ2,500 nga multa o prisohan o pareho, sumala sa desisyon sa korte.

๐Ÿ“ Gihangyo ang kooperasyon sa tanang Talacognon aron mapanalipdan ang kahimsog ug kaluwasan sa atong komunidad batok sa rabies.

Alang sa dugang impormasyon, palihog duola ang inyong Barangay Office o ang Municipal Veterinary Office.

The Barangay Peace and Order Committee (BPOC) orientation was successfully conducted today, March 11, 2026, bringing together key personnel to review, assess, and enhance the documentation and implementation of peace and order initiatives at the barangay level.

The activity served as a venue to strengthen coordination, ensure compliance with assessment indicators, and further improve strategies aimed at maintaining peace, safety, and public order in the community. Through collaboration and shared commitment, participants actively engaged in discussions and workshops to refine reports and align efforts toward effective local governance.

This initiative reflects the continued dedication of the local government and its partners in promoting responsive leadership and sustainable peace and order in our barangays.

Strengthening youth leadership through knowledge and good governance!

The newly appointed SK Treasurer and SK Secretary successfully completed the Sangguniang Kabataan Mandatory Training (SKMT), equipping them with essential skills in financial management, documentation, and responsible public service to better serve the youth of our community.

This training was made possible through the partnership of the Local Youth Development Officer-Designate Mr. Waynedeal Bonono and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-LGU Talacogon, spearheaded by Charles V. Lim Jr., and with the full support of our Municipal Mayor, Mayor Pauline Marie R. Masendo, RN

Together, we remain committed to empowering young leaders, promoting transparency, and building a stronger future for the youth of Talacogon.

The Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Meeting today, February 20, 2026, at the Municipal SB Session Hall, presided over by our Municipal Administrator, Maโ€™am Gina B. Gatab, MPA.

The council discussed key updates, concerns, and action plans aimed at strengthening peace, security, and public safety in the municipality. Through strong coordination and collaboration among member agencies and stakeholders, we reaffirm our commitment to building a safer, orderly, and more resilient community for all.
