𝘿𝙖𝙮 1 & 𝘿𝙖𝙮 2 | 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 6–7, 2026

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙙𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙡 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 taught us about the history and background of the Red Cross Youth, giving us a deeper understanding of its mission, values, and commitment to humanitarian service.

We also learned how an organization works and understood our roles and responsibilities as members of the club. Through different activities, we were able to develop our leadership skills, work together as a team, build confidence, and strengthen our sense of responsibility.

This training helped prepare us to become dedicated and active youth volunteers who are always ready to serve others.

ANO ANG AFTERSHOCK?

Ang aftershock ay mga kasunod na pagyanig na nagaganap matapos ang isang malakas na lindol o *mainshock*. Kadalasan, ang mga ito ay mas mahina kaysa sa naunang malakas at mapaminsalang lindol.

Ang ilan sa mga aftershock ay maaaring may sapat na lakas upang maramdaman at maaari pang magdulot ng karagdagang pinsala sa mga estrukturang humina o nasira na ng mainshock. Maaaring maranasan ang mga ito sa loob ng ilang araw, linggo, o maging buwan matapos ang pangunahing lindol.

Sa pangkalahatan, habang mas malakas ang mainshock, mas marami ang inaasahang aftershocks at mas matagal ang panahong maaaring maranasan ang mga ito.

Kasunod ng M7.8 na lindol sa offshore Sarangani, inaasahan ang mga aftershock. Pinapayuhan ang publiko na umiwas muna sa mga gusali at iba pang estrukturang maaaring napinsala ng lindol dahil maaari itong lalong humina o gumuho kapag niyanig ng mga susunod na aftershock.

Patuloy na makinig sa mga opisyal na abiso mula sa DOST-PHIVOLCS at sa inyong lokal na pamahalaan para sa mga update at paalala sa kaligtasan.

As the school year comes to a close, Pasasalamat 2026 stands as a heartfelt celebration of gratitude, reflection, and new beginnings—a moment to honor the journey, the struggles we have overcome, and the memories that shaped who we have become.

Today marks not just the end of an academic chapter, but the beginning of a new path filled with hope and possibility. We gather with grateful hearts, cherishing the friendships we built, the lessons we learned, and the experiences that will remain with us wherever we go.

As we reach the end of our journey in this organization, we, the Grade 12 students, look back with gratitude and pride. This experience has shaped us in ways we will always carry—through leadership, service, friendship, and growth.

To our Grade 11 co-members, thank you for your support, cooperation, and willingness to learn and grow with us. We may be leaving the organization, but we leave knowing that it is in capable and dedicated hands.

We once stood as pillars, and now it is time for you to build a stronger foundation. As you continue the work, we encourage you to lead with courage, integrity, and passion.

Though our paths are now moving in different directions, the bond we have built remains. We are proud of what we have shared, and even prouder of what you will become.
This is not a goodbye, but a passing of responsibility and trust. The organization’s future is now yours to shape and carry it well.

And when the spark feels lost, always remember the reason why you started, and find another reason to keep going.
