𝐔𝐌𝐓𝐂 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐋𝐘 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 2026

On 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 18, 2026 (𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲), the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 (𝐈𝐕𝐂𝐅) 𝐒𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 and 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐉𝐃𝐌) came together to facilitate a solemn and uplifting 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 at 𝐔𝐌 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞, 𝐀𝐕𝐑 1 - 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬.

Gathering non-catholic students, faculty, and staff, the morning offered a meaningful pause from academic routines—a quiet moment to reset, ground our hearts, and strengthen our community's faith together.

𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨 𝐓. 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐏𝐌𝐆𝐆𝐒 served as our preacher, sharing an encouraging and timely message about walking firmly in God's grace. Opening with 1 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 16:13-14 (𝐍𝐈𝐕), he reminded everyone: "𝘽𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙙; 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙢 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝; 𝙗𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨; 𝙗𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜. 𝘿𝙤 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚."

Challenging the room to reflect deeper, he posed a vital question: "𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙣 𝙂𝙤𝙙? 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝?"

Drawing from 2 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐲 3:16-17, Sir Remegio emphasized that "𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙂𝙤𝙙-𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙧𝙚𝙗𝙪𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙨𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠." He highlighted practical ways to live out our faith daily:
• 𝙈𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙂𝙤𝙙 • 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙤𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚

He also reminded us of the importance of surrounding ourselves with fellow believers who encourage and sustain our faithfulness, pointing to 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 1:12 on persevering under trials to receive the crown of life. Referencing 1 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐲 1:9, he underscored the contrast of living a life separated from worldly brokenness.

This monthly gathering continues to serve as a sacred anchor for our campus, reminding us of divine grace as the academic year moves forward.

Last September 7, 2026, our first Monthly Corporate Prayer Meeting for A.Y. 2026-2027 was successfully conducted!

Drawing strength from God’s Word in 𝟮 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟱:𝟭𝟳, this month’s theme reminded us that past heavy seasons are over, and that in Christ, new beginnings are truly possible. This gathering brought us a comforting space to release our burdens, pray together, and feel a stronger sense of familial ties within the campus.

We also praise God for the five new students who joined us in this gathering. May His Word continue to carry and sustain us through this month’s piled-up review materials, pending academic tasks, and family and organizational responsibilities. Above all, may these commitments never hinder our personal walk with the Lord, but instead draw us even closer to Him. All Glory belongs to the LORD 🙌

ATAKE!! By God’s grace, humana jud ang 𝐈𝐕𝐂𝐅 𝐒𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 and it was an absolute vibe and a massive success! Held at the 𝐔𝐌 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐥 - 𝐔𝐌𝐓𝐂 𝐌𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬, we officially rolled out the red carpet for our fresh new members for 𝐀.𝐘. 2026–2027 with our main theme: “𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝,” anchored in 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 2:1–12 with our speaker, 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐳.

To kick things off, we started with icebreakers and getting-to-know-you games, followed by high-energy praise and worship, an eye-opening message, great fellowship, yummy snacks, a quick organization orientation, and the official oath-taking of our new officers!

Our speaker dropped some major wisdom straight from Mark 2:1–12—the iconic story of the paralyzed man lowered through the roof by his four loyal friends because the crowd was too packed.
