𝗕𝗦𝗗𝗖 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

A new chapter begins as the Bachelor of Science in Development Communication (BSDC) Freshmen Orientation welcomed the newest members of the DevCommUnity on August 12, 2026.

The program formally opened with welcome remarks from Jaime Boy U. Ngag Jr., PhD, BSDC Program Chairperson, who welcomed the freshmen and encouraged them as they begin their journey in Development Communication.

This was followed by the Introduction of VOICE Officers, presented by Nel Jan P. Cogama, President of VOICE, giving the freshmen an opportunity to know the student leaders who will help represent and serve the DevCom community.

The orientation featured meaningful discussions designed to help freshmen understand the program, its opportunities, and what lies ahead in their journey:

The program was also graced by a message of support from Sir Ryan V. Fuerte, LPT, one of the BSDC instructors, who shared his encouragement and support for the incoming freshmen.

Adding to the occasion, Niel Bert C. Cosio, President of the Supreme Student Council of South Cotabato State College (SSC-SCSC), took time to visit and show his support for the program and the newest members of the DevCom community.

The orientation concluded with closing remarks from Lorelie S. Rallo, LPT, DevCom Instructor, who shared words of encouragement as the freshmen embark on their academic journey.

As you begin this new chapter, may you learn, communicate, create, and advocate with purpose. Welcome to DevCom, freshmen! Your voice matters, and your journey starts here. 💜🎙️
