Naugsol Integrated School

Today, 𝙉𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙨𝙤𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 took the initiative to strengthen student awareness on the ill effects of substance abuse and the preventive measures necessary to avoid involvement in such harmful activities. Throughout the symposium, an equally important message on mental health awareness was emphasized, highlighting the need for students to value their emotional well-being and seek healthy coping strategies. As the saying goes, “𝘼𝙣 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚’𝙨 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙨.”

Theme: Enhancing Gender Awareness, Teacher Welfare, and Child Protection in Schools

Naugsol Integrated School successfully conducted its Gender and Development Training–Workshop focused on promoting gender responsiveness, supporting teacher welfare, and strengthening child protection in the school community.

The training-workshop included a comprehensive discussion on the Magna Carta for Public School Teachers, presented by Ma’am Marry Jane V. Delos Santos, which provided participants with a deeper understanding of teachers’ rights, responsibilities, and benefits.

It also featured an in-depth orientation on Department Order No. 55, s. 2013 – Child Protection Policy, delivered by Ma’am Jovy Mae A. Academia, highlighting essential guidelines and protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners.

The activity reaffirmed the school’s commitment to maintaining a gender-sensitive, secure, and supportive educational environment for both teachers and students.

Understanding the Guidelines on the Implementation of the Expanded Career Progression System for Teachers in the Department of Education—helping teachers navigate career pathways and professional advancement.

Division SGC Validation

Naugsol Integrated School proudly announces that during the Division SGC Validation, the school successfully met all 12 out of 12 indicators, officially recognizing our School Governance Council (SGC) as Functional.

The validation documents were presented by Dr. Arianne Mae C. Angeles, SGC Designate Co-Chairperson, with the support of SGC Elected Chairperson Jennifer P. Padilla and our School Head, Dr. Joan Lat Garcia. This showcases the school’s strong compliance and commitment to effective governance.

This milestone reflects the collective effort of our school head, SGC members, teachers, parents, and stakeholders in ensuring transparent and participatory school management.

Successful “Zumba for a Cause” Event at Naugsol Integrated School!

A fun and meaningful “Zumba for a Cause” event was successfully held at the Brgy. Naugsol Covered Court through the joint efforts of the SPTA and SGC of Naugsol Integrated School.

On behalf of our school, SPTA Chairperson B**g Roco and SGC Elected Co-Chairperson Fey Paliza Padilla express heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported this event — especially to our ever-supportive School Head, Principal Joan Lat Garcia, and our dedicated teachers.

Together, we danced, we gave, and we made a difference for a cause! 💚💃✨

The School Governance Council (SGC) of Naugsol Integrated School held its Oath-Taking Ceremony today, led by Hon. Tadeo R. Binuya, Barangay Captain of Naugsol, who administered the oath to the newly elected SGC officers. The program also included the presentation of plans for SY 2025–2026 to the barangay officials.

A meeting of the SGC Council followed, facilitated by Ms. Arianne Mae C. Angeles, Designated Co-Chairperson, and Mrs. Jennifer P. Padilla, Elected Co-Chairperson. The council discussed key programs and activities that will strengthen school–community partnerships and support.

Campfires burning, draw nigh Scouts! 🔥
NIS gathered for a memorable Campfire Night as part of the Scouting Month. The evening was filled with songs, cheers, and fellowship, bringing warmth, laughter, and the true spirit of Scouting.

As part of the Scouting Month Celebration, NIS held fun and exciting activities for the Twinkler and Star Scouts — the Search for Miss Star Scout and Twinklers Got Talent! 🌟

The young scouts showcased their confidence, creativity, and talents, proving that Scouting is not only about discipline and service but also about fun, friendship, and self-expression.
