This International Day of Mathematics, we embrace the theme "Mathematics and Hope."

To study mathematics is to believe in the possibility of an answer. It is a field built on the conviction that even the most difficult problems can be understood and addressed through determination and logic.

We honor the educators, researchers, and students who lean into this hope everyday, using math to create a better, more calculated, and more compassionate world. 🧮✨

This crew is armed with a compass of logic and a spyglass of curiosity, ready to uncover hidden formulas and solve mind-blowing puzzles. They are the heart and soul of the Pi-rates, dedicated to exploring the vast ocean of math and making this year a great journey.

Building Math Skills and Creative Minds at Sara National High School

Sara National High School successfully celebrated the International Day of Mathematics under the theme, 'Mathematics, Arts, and Creativity.' The day featured a range of engaging activities designed to highlight the interconnectedness of these fields. Students participated in a creative poster-making competition, the collaborative Math Rainbow Rumble, and the strategically challenging Adding/Multiplying Kangaroo game. These activities fostered both mathematical understanding and creative expression.

The event was marked by enthusiastic student participation, demonstrating a strong interest in exploring mathematical concepts through diverse mediums. We extend our sincere appreciation to the SNHS math teachers for their active involvement, which contributed significantly to the day's success and made today a memorable celebration.

Empowering young minds through math

The Pi-rates club, in collaboration of other organizations—successfully facilitated the UNESCO Tulong Aral program. Featuring Mathmazing games for MATHtatag students to enhance their problem-solving skills and nurture their young minds.

You’ve all shown incredible dedication and skill in the 2024 Provincial Statistics Quiz last October 14 and making it to the top 30!
