Santa Rosa Third Ward

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 | 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝 | 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

“I will let my family be baptized immediately, for I know that this Church is true. I felt the Spirit within me, and I want my family to feel that feeling as well.”

This was the feeling Brother Jeff experienced as he came to know and follow Jesus Christ. After his own baptism, he desired for his family to feel the same peace and witness of the Spirit that strengthened his faith.

On this day, Brother Jeff and his family—Sister Jeraldyn, John, and Jamjaysus—together with Nanay Sonia, Sofhia, Jennica, Acielyn, and Aliah, were baptized and chose to follow Jesus Christ.

Sister Yra Albarando, who witnessed their journey, shared how meaningful missionary work has been for her as she prepares to serve her own mission. She saw the dedication of the missionaries as they taught the gospel and helped the Lasap family grow closer to the Savior. From the beginning, she saw their openness and joy as they welcomed the message of Jesus Christ into their home.

She reflected:

“Just like Lehi in the Book of Mormon, when he partook of the fruit of the tree of life, he immediately called his family to partake of it because he knew it would bring them joy.”

Their story reminds us that no matter the challenges we face, the Savior walks with us. Through faith in Him, families can be strengthened, hearts can be changed, and lives can be filled with hope and lasting joy.

With great joy, we welcome the Alinsud family as newly baptized members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

This sacred ordinance is a beautiful expression of their faith in Jesus Christ and their desire to follow Him. We are grateful to stand with them on this special day and to support them as they begin this new chapter of their spiritual journey.

May they always feel the Lord’s love, guidance, and presence as they continue forward on this beautiful journey of discipleship. 🤍

What could be a better way of expressing love this Love Month than showing that love to the One who loves us first?

These ordinary teenagers could have done what an ordinary teenager would do on a weekend: relax, play some video games, netflix marathon etc. But no, here they are: they have overcome the immense temptation to sleep in, but rather, have risen up early just to make it on time with their appointment with the Lord, in His holy house.

Excited as they were for this was their very first youth Alabang temple tour since its dedication, but nobody could discount the effort, the preparation, the small and simple fragments of daily Christlike living, that have accumulated over time, and that which made their attendance to every church activity, every class and quorum meeting, and every temple visit, an “automatic” thing for them to do.

Truly, they are not called the rising generation for nothing! They have been rising up! Kudos to our SR3 Youth! 🙌❤️

On January 31, 2026, The Primary and Youth had an uplifting gathering for the Children and Youth Program with parents. Congratulations to those who progressed from Primary to Youth and from Youth to Young Single Adults—may your journey continue with faith and purpose. Inspired by the 2026 Youth Theme, “Walk With Me” (Moses 6:34), We are reminded that Jesus Christ walks with us every step of the way as we pursue and achieve the goals prayerfully set together with our parents. ⭐

Ward Council Annual Planning for 2026 and Thanksgiving Lunch

We are always grateful for the service of our dedicated ward leaders. We are all excited for the coming year ahead! Onward moving forward SR3!

Each year, the Primary Children of the Valiant Class undergo a special session under the direction of the Bishopric, wherein they learn more about how to prepare themselves to enter the Temple and to receive the Aaronic Priesthood (for males). For years, they have been looking forward for these special milestones in their lives which is becoming sooner and sooner as the days go by. We love and are very proud of all these valiant children. They are truly valiant in every sense of the word! 😍

What a beautiful night with our ward as we visited the Alabang Temple Open House. Being inside brought a special kind of peace, comfort, and joy that’s hard to put into words.

What a wonderful and spirit-filled day it was during our Santa Rosa 3rd Ward Conference last October 19! 💙🩵

It was truly a blessing to gather together as one ward family — to be strengthened by the messages shared, inspired by the music, and reminded of the Savior’s love and guidance in our lives. Each testimony, smile, and handshake reflected the unity and faith that bind us as disciples of Jesus Christ.

We’re grateful for the leaders who serve with love, for the members who continue to support and uplift one another, and for the spirit that filled the chapel throughout the day. May we continue to carry the light we felt and share it in our homes, our callings, and our everyday lives. 💙

In this sacred meeting, we come together as brothers and sisters in the gospel — to worship, to learn, and to be strengthened in our faith in Jesus Christ. Let our hearts be open to the whisperings of the Spirit as we renew our covenants, share in inspired messages, and feel the peace that comes from being in the house of the Lord.

May this special gathering remind us of the joy that comes from serving one another, from lifting hands that hang down, and from finding comfort in the Savior’s perfect love. As we unite in prayer, song, and testimony, may we leave renewed with hope, strengthened in faith, and filled with a deeper desire to follow Him.
