What a weekend at Saddleback Kids! 🙌 The love of Jesus was overflowing through an action-packed, back-to-back weekend of celebrations. 🌊❤️

✨ Move Up Weekend: Our kids officially got their certificates! Next week, everyone steps into their brand-new classes. 🎒🗺️
🚀 SSM Welcome Party: We cheered on our graduating Grade 5 kids as they moved up into Saddleback Student Ministries! 🎓👏
🏊♂️ Leader Fellowship: We wrapped up the weekend with a fun swimming party to celebrate our amazing SK leaders.
Ministry is so much fun for both kids and adults! Thank you to every family and volunteer who made this weekend unforgettable. See you next week in your new rooms! 👋🏠

Last week was incredible for at Summer Blast VBS! The One Way Cafe was open for business, and 70 boys and girls spent three unforgettable days discovering what it means to "Taste and see that the Lord is good" (Psalm 34:8). The energy of our little chefs knew no bounds as kids jumped into high-energy worship dancing, 💃🕺creative crafts ✂️, fun games 🥎, and Bible lessons 📖 that showed them just how much God loves us.
We wrapped up three days of learning with our favorite tradition: Family Fun Day! There was no better way to celebrate in community than with our annual basaan, where kids and families got absolutely soaked in water and laughter. 💦
Our hearts are full, our spirits are fed, and we’re already counting down until next summer! ☀
What a way to end the week! Day 3 of Summer Blast was a beautiful finale for our little chefs. We explored the story of the Prodigal Son, reminding every child that God’s love is unconditional and He’s always ready to welcome us home with open arms. 🤗
From dancing in worship, to final team challenges, to creative crafts that captured the heart of Psalm 34:8, the joy was absolutely contagious. We are so grateful for every laugh, every lesson, and the powerful reminder that we are deeply loved by a God of grace. ☀️🙌✨

It’s a day for the kids to jump, splash, and make the best summer memories ever! This isn't just a party—it's a chance to grow our family too. If your kids have friends, neighbors, or cousins who love water fun as much as they do, bring them along! It’s the perfect chance for them to join the Saddleback family for a day of pure joy.

Day 2 at the One Way Cafe was a total blast! Our hearts (and our stomachs) are full after another high-energy day of faith and fun. A taste of today’s "menu":
- 💃🕺 Worship Dance: We kicked things off with some serious moves to praise the Lord!
- ⚽️🏃♂️ Game Time: High energy, big smiles, and a little friendly competition.
- 🪴 Farmer's Corner: Our little gardeners started planting to see things grow!
- 🌱📖 The Big Lesson: We dived into the Parable of the Sower and learned what it means to prepare the "soil" of our hearts to hear God's word
We are so proud of these kids for readying their hearts to grow in faith. We can’t wait to see what Day 3 has in store!
