The NBI Agents’ Basic Training Program is a mandatory requirement for qualified applicants who aspire to become NBI Agents, as prescribed under Republic Act No. 10867, otherwise known as the “NBI Reorganization and Modernization Law”.

In line with its mission to provide quality investigative and forensic services to the people, the NBI is continually enhancing its capabilities in the detection and investigation of crimes by recruiting and training new NBI Agents who are persons of integrity, competence, and culture.

Graduates of the NBI Agents’ Basic Training Program have undergone courses essential in performing their duties and responsibilities within the jurisdiction of the Bureau, as the premier investigative agency of the country.
