𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | The PUP SRC Badminton Team is now one step closer to the gold medal matching against PUP San Juan at PUP Sta. Mesa's Gymnasium, today, October 29.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | Uusad sa final game ang PUP SRC Badminton team para sa kampeonato matapos masungkit ang magkasunod na panalo sa Men's Doubles at Women's Doubles category kontra PUP College of Engineering (CE) sa final set scores na 21-23, 7-21, 22-17 (2-1) at 21-17, 21-14 (2-0).

Kasalukuyang ginaganap ang laban sa pagitan ng PUP San Juan at PUP Santa Maria kung saan makakaharap nila ang mananalong kuponan.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | PUP SRC’s Badminton Team is hoping to top their last season’s best in the University Intramurals 2024 against PUP College of Engineering (CE) in the semifinals round. Winning this round guarantees their ticket to the finals.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | Despite consistent efforts, the PUP SRC’s Women’s Volleyball team failed to clinch their first win via two consecutives loses in a single match versus PUP College of Business Administration (CBA) with a score of 16-25, and 25-19, both in favor of CBA.

They will return in court on November 4, as per the UI 2024 calendar.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | The Women’s Volleyball is now taking the floor of PUP Gymnasium at the University Intramurals 2024, with the PUP SRC’s team facing head-on with PUP College of Business Administration (CBA) on the elimination round.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | PUP SRC’s Basketball Team is only a step away from the semifinals of the PUP University Intramurals 2024 after gaining the upper hand against PUP College of Business Administration this morning; final score 72-59.

Johan Kurt Macalintal (Jersey 25) was hailed the Player of the Game with 33 points.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | The Basketball Team of PUP Santa Rosa Campus (PUP SRC) is now up against the PUP College of Business Administration (CBA).

First quarter result score is 15-12, in favor of PUP SRC.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | Classes from October 28 to November 3 are to “shift to asynchronous mode of teaching,” as announced by Campus Director Leny V. Salmingo earlier today.

“In solidarity with the recent situation of our fellow co-workers and students brought by typhoon Kristine, the PUPSRC Administration would like to encourage everyone to temporarily shift to asynchronous mode of teaching starting from October 28 to November 3, 2024. Further considerations are most welcome during this kind of uncomfortable circumstances,” Dr. Salmingo’s message sent to the faculty and class presidents reads.

Additionally, this shall also serve as “typical observance” of the All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day on November 1 and 2 respectively.

Likewise, scheduled Freshmen Orientations on October 28 and 29 and Twilight Escapade: Acquaintance Party 2024 on October 30 were postponed by the Campus Administration and Office of the Student Council.

𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 | Several Student Councils from various colleges and campuses of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, including Santa Rosa Campus, call on to the University Administration for an academic ease from October 26 to November 3, following the recent onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine that affected nearly all campuses, particularly those in Southern Luzon.

The initiative was made ahead and in consideration of another Tropical Storm, Leon, who have already made its way in the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as of October 26, 7:30 PM; and the annual commemoration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

“We believe that implementing an academic ease will be of great help to us all as we collectively help each other recuperate from the unprecedented catastrophes and continue the Filipino tradition of remembering our lost loved ones,” the post from the Office of the Student Regent (OSR) reads.
