Its Rice planting season!
In the province of Nueva Ecija, there are two (2) production seasons: Dry and Wet season.
This current season is the “Dry Season” and farmers term it as “Dayatan or Tag-Araw”. The dry season usually commences in December and culminates in April. Most farmers are looking forward for this particular season because their crops attain the highest yield than in any other season. However, it doesn’t mean that it will be easy. Rice farming is an absolute manual hard labor all throughout regardless of the season.
Let us show our support to our local rice farmers by buying only locally sourced and produced rice.
