Pros:
- Very responsive to FB Messenger/Instagram /SMS
inquiries.
- Homey ambiance. Perfect for dates and group
gatherings.
- Food is delicious, home-cooked quality and
enjoyable. We ordered Tortang Talong (P380),
Lumpiang Shanghai (P480), Kansi (P980),
Piyanggang Manok (P680), Pancit Canton Guisado
(P1,100), Chocolate Cake (P320). There is not one
that I didn’t love!
- Reasonably priced
- Clean & tidy lobby and restroom
- Commendable serving time
- Top-tier customer service. Everyone is very
accommodating and friendly. Special mention to
Chris.
- Pet-friendly in the al fresco dining area
- Very accessible and easy to locate.

Cons:
- Limited parking area (Street parking available)

Emilia House of Filipino Food

Pros:
- Promptly replies to Facebook/SMS inquiries.
- Great cozy ambiance. Perfect for dates and intimate
gatherings.
- Food is good. We ordered Fresh Lumpia, Chicken
Cordon Bleu, Pancit Canton, Bagnet Kare-Kare &
Salmon Sinigang
(Very nice presentation and served fresh. The Kare-
Kare is a bit sweet for my liking)
- Very clean & tidy (both Lobby & CR)
- Acceptable serving time
- Good customer service
- Spacious parking
- Pet-friendly in the al fresco dining areas
- Very accessible and easy to locate.

Cons:
- On the pricey side.(Considering the serving size/
portion. Approx for 2pax only.)
- Background music didn’t match the vibe of the
place. (the day we visited, they were playing
upbeat/modern music. Just a minor concern.)
- I personally didn’t like the overhead lighting per
table. It’s too bright and at the same time ruins the
photos.

Pros:
- Aesthetic and vibey.
- Good food (Tried Tocino Bfast Bowl & Herbed
Chicken. Both are good)
- Reasonably priced
- Clean & tidy
- Acceptable serving time
- Good customer service
- Can park up to 7 to 8 cars
- Pet-friendly
- The place is very accessible

Cons:
- Background music is a bit loud.
- Can be crowded and noisy on peak hours
- Limited indoor space (around 8 tables only)
- Food smells cling to clothes/hair (probably because
of ventilation)

So we tried this cute little cafe because lately, we’ve been missing Vietanam. Food is quite legit esp the Pho. 😋 Banh Mi is also good. Just a little more filling and more pate and it will be perfect. Too bad, I wasn’t able to try their version of my favorite Bun Cha and fried spring rolls because they ran out of meat.
Next time, I’ll try their coffee.

79 years ago there was a shortage of fresh milk for coffee in Vietnam. A bartender named, Giang thought of using whipped eggs as an alternative. And from that experiment, created egg coffee that is well-loved to this day.

If you like your coffee sweet, then this is for you. Cafe Giảng’s Egg Coffee is a sweet treat, like a Tiramisu dessert and I loved it!

IMO, it’s a 10/10

Tầm Vị is considered as one of the cheapest Michelin Starred resto in the world. Reason why it is among the top spot for both local and foreign tourists in Hanoi.
Tam Vi offers authentic Vietnamese cuisine, reflecting their local culinary heritage. I love the warm and cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The food is equally wonderful. I personally loved the spring rolls, very savoury and siksik. For the rest of the dishes, as someone who enjoys umami/tasty food, I find them a little bland. But thats just me. Tam Vi is still worth a visit when in Hanoi.

IMO it’s a 7/10
