My students have been raving over squishy dumplings and I admit it's so cute! 🥰 I have a bit of down time because of the storm, so I made a bun.

Dumping all the photos because I had to take them in a hurry and I don't have one that shows off the color gradient.

I saw this pattern maybe more than a decade ago in a crochet magazine and I saved it at the back of my mind as one of those "someday" projects.. One day, I had the right yarn and the right person to gift it to. So here it is! My photos didn't do justice to the lovely gradient yarn from Ashley's Crochet though.

A vintage shawl! Made from a pattern in the vintage magazine that a friend gave me 😊

I may have been too enthusiastic in making those rhombuses and created a slightly (?) large shawl 😅 but I guess it'd be ok if worn over a dress.

Side quest!

I decided to give my old Harry Potter books a new sparkle. They sparkle in real life, I swear.

Back to crochet now! 😊

I didn't think the gradient will work on this one, but it did! And I'm glad! 🥰

When I started crocheting, it never occured to me that it could be something difficult to learn (unlike embroidery 😂) Even when I'm working on something I knew I haven't tried before, I could easily figure it out. Like I said, it feels like a memory.
