The 19 candidates of Binibining Ramon 2026 received a warm welcome from SN Aboitiz Power-Magat, Inc. during their courtesy visit to the power facility, giving them a closer look into one of the country’s major sources of renewable energy.

In partnership with the Local Government Unit of Ramon, the candidates were introduced to the plant’s overall operations through a brief presentation highlighting its power generation process, safety protocols, and environmental initiatives. The visit also included a guided tour inside the plant’s control room and key operational areas, providing the candidates with a firsthand learning experience.

MATINDING BARANGAY BUSINESS INSPECTION, PATULOY NA ISINASAGAWA NG LGU AT BPLO

Kasalukuyang isinasagawa ng Local Government Unit (LGU) sa pangunguna ng Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) ang masusing Barangay Business Inspection upang tiyakin ang pagsunod ng mga establisyemento sa umiiral na mga regulasyon at ordinansa ng pamahalaang bayan.

Bahagi ng operasyon ang pagbibigay ng 1st Notice of Violation sa mga negosyong napag-alamang nagpapatakbo nang walang kaukulang business permit at iba pang kinakailangang dokumento. Personal na iniikot ng mga kinauukulang opisyal ang iba’t ibang barangay upang maberipika ang legalidad ng operasyon ng mga negosyo sa lugar.

Ayon sa BPLO, layunin ng hakbang na ito na mapanatili ang maayos, legal, at responsableng operasyon ng mga negosyo habang pinapalakas ang pagpapatupad ng mga lokal na ordinansa para sa kapakanan ng mamamayan at komunidad.

Nanawagan naman ang LGU sa lahat ng business owners na agad na makipag-ugnayan sa BPLO upang maisaayos ang kanilang mga permit at maiwasan ang kaukulang parusa alinsunod sa umiiral na batas at ordinansa ng bayan.

Miano, DOT Regional Director visited the Tourism Office of Ramon and formally awarded the Mabuhay Accommodation Sticker and Certificate to Water World Grand Resort, Inc., the first DOT-accredited hotel and resort in the municipality. The recognition is seen as a major step in strengthening Ramon’s tourism industry, promoting higher standards in hospitality services, and attracting more local and foreign visitors to the town.
