FINALLY!!! Yabu House of Katsu is now in Bulacan 😭🎉
And not just anywhere—the first Yabu in North Luzon is now open at SM City Marilao
As someone who’s been eating at Yabu for years, I was genuinely excited about this one. No more long drives whenever the katsu cravings hit 😭
My personal favorite? Definitely the Hire & Salmon Katsu because if there’s salmon on the menu, chances are I’m ordering it 🐟😂
Also loved the Prawn and Katsu Set—crispy, satisfying, and exactly why Yabu remains one of my go-to Japanese restaurants.

Recently tried the SALO BOX from Lolo Pedro’s Pugon sa Sta. Isabel and honestly, this is the kind of food that's made for sharing.
Imagine a whole pugon-roasted chicken, crispy Lechon de Pugon, homemade gravy, Salsa Pimenton, and Salsa Verde all in one feast 🤤
Everything is slow-roasted using a traditional pugon, giving the meat that smoky, juicy, and flavorful finish that keeps you coming back for more.

I've been coming back to Baliwag Grocer Cafe for years now, and I think that says a lot.
Yes, it's probably one of the pinkest cafés in Bulacan, but what keeps me returning is how comfortable the place feels. It's peaceful, work-friendly, and the kind of café where a quick coffee run somehow turns into a few hours 😭
This visit, we tried:

Spent the day at Amana Waterpark in Pandi, Bulacan with my pamangkins and honestly? Now I understand why families keep coming back.
From the country's biggest wave pool with 13 different wave patterns, to themed pools, life-sized characters, and activities scattered across the entire resort, there's genuinely so much to do here 😭
What I loved most was seeing the kids enjoy every part of the experience—from the waves to simply exploring the park.
Bonus points because you're allowed to bring your own food and water too 💯

The PINK café in Bulacan that I genuinely keep coming back to 😭🎀☕
Baliwag Grocer Cafe has been one of my comfort cafés for the longest time. Super warm vibes, peaceful enough to work in, and honestly… the food NEVER disappoints 😭
Favorites from what we tried:

Finally visited Brekkie Cafe in Baliwag and okay… they surprised me! These days kasi pag visually appealing ang cafe, for sure hindi masyadong masarap ang food (this is almost true, promise!!!)
Pero Brekkie Cafe is a whole different creature!!! The food delivered!!!
Favorites:
✨ Katsu Sando (I WILL come back for this)
✨ NEW French Toast with crème brûléed top 😭
✨ Coconut Matcha
✨ Seasalt Hojicha
Also love that the café is filled with flowers 🌷 and yes — you can actually buy them too.
