On December 02, 2025, the Emmanuel John Institute of Science and Technology (EJIST) Tanay, Rizal, hosted a crucial Earthquake Drill Seminar in collaboration with the local government.

The activity was conducted under the theme: "EJIST-TANAY RIZAL EARTHQUAKE DRILL SEMINAR: PREPARE FOR THE QUAKE, REDUCE THE IMPACT OF THE SHAKE." This initiative aimed to significantly enhance the disaster preparedness and resilience of the academic community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our esteemed Resource Speaker, F/SINSP Norberto Francisco E. Matienzo Jr., the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (MDRRMO) of Tanay, Rizal, for sharing his expertise and valuable insights on earthquake planning and response protocols.

We also commend the active participation of the EJIST students, teachers, and the Student Council. Their engagement was vital in ensuring the success and effectiveness of this readiness program.

The seminar was both successful and meaningful, marking a significant step in fostering a safer and more resilient environment for the entire EJIST community.
